Girl geek dinners are fun events for geeky girls to get together, network, and hear a technical presentation. I went to the second girl geek dinner at Amazon with some of my coworkers last night.

Last night’s presentation was an overview of Amazon Web Services. Frankly, I did not even know that Amazon even had something called “Amazon Web Services”, so this was a great way to learn about what the company is doing outside of Amazon.com. Go check out aws.amazon.com–it is pretty neat!
