Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, or hanging out with your creationist relatives, you’ve surely heard about the Large Hadron Collider shooting it’s first beam making atoms go SMASH boom crackle tonight. I am so so so so stoked. Physics is soooooo cool.

Unfortunately, there’s alot of people tuned in to the live webcast. So many in fact that my friends web browser crashed just trying to load the page. It may have also been due to the shittastic media player they used. At any rate, a substitute video was in order, and I stumbled upon a gem from wired. 10 Amazing Physics vids. Most of these are oldies, but they’re wonderful nonetheless, and I learned something about superfluids and tesla coil hax!
